The Ulysses crash shut down part of the roadway between the time of the accident and the early-morning hours on Wednesday, as officials investigated and reconstructed the scene.

The Ithaca Voice reports that a source familiar with the incident confirmed that the pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
Trumansburg Road was shut down between Perry City and Iradell roads. New York State Police were leading the investigation.
